Makeup For Film & Television : Moisturizer: How to Apply Makeup For Film

Alright, so as soon as her face is cleaned
and you’ve removed any residue or mascara that might still be there that could cause
any problems, it’s time to moisturize. Most people I moisturize unless they are extremely
oily, then I just use an anti-shine on them. As long as they don’t have an allergic reaction
to it, always ask. If you’re working out in the sun, it’s always good to put a sun screen
on. I keep a fairly expensive one in my kit. It’s strictly for talent, not the crew. So,
I’m going to, I’m actually going to apply a little sun screen on her. Sometimes I use
that as a moisturizer instead of adding one on top of it. I’m going to do that, but I’m
going to moisturize her also. I’m just using my clean fingers, and just going over her
skin. Just make sure it’s blended in well. I try to keep it away from the eye area because
sometimes different products won’t mix very well with the foundations you are going to
use.
